Our Little Cubby

Grace had a FANTASTIC time at Cubbies last night.  She had been talking about it for weeks and we had been practicing her verse and motto so she would be prepared.  She thought the night would NEVER come.

She played games, had a puppet show, listened to a lesson, recited her verse and motto, sang songs, and made a craft... She is in love with AWANA!

The Cubby vests didn't come in but she was able to get her new book last night!

Here is the craft she made... a GRACE bracelet!  She looks so grown up! (She told us that some of her friends had trouble finding the letters to spell their names... I think some of the problem was the kids didn't know how to spell their names and the other part was that some of the kids have WEIRD NAMES or WEIRD SPELLINGS!!! Why do they do that to their kids?)

Overall it was a great experience... she will DEFINITELY go back next week... we just have to learn her verse first!
