Less than 2 weeks

It is official... there are less than 2 weeks until my due date!  It is hard to believe that it has been nine months, but when you think of all that has happened...it has been a long 9 months:

1.     I took a pregnancy test…POSITIVE!!! 

2.     We found a realtor and sold our house... including inspections, mortgages, showings, stagers and loans!

3.     Danny had 2 snow camps with the teens!

4.     The Saints won the Super Bowl.

5.     The WHOLE family flew to Iowa to find housing for our move!

6.     Carter Chase was born! J

7.     Grace turned 3!

8.     Hannah turned 1!

9.     We had a combined birthday party for them!

10. Danny took the teens on a College Tour...I stayed home to pack!

11. We lost power and had to use the generator while Danny was away!

12. Hannah stopped taking a bottle… sippy cups with WHOLE milk only.

13.  Danny turned 32!

14. We packed up all of our things.

15. We told family and friends that we were expecting… that was hard to do as we were also saying goodbye!

16. We stayed with the Durants for a few days and were spoiled!

17. We TRIED to drive to Iowa as a family, but some of us ended up flying.  J

18. We bought 2 new vehicles... a Van and a Car – IN CASH.

19. I missed LDA at CBC!  :(

20. Danny attended the Casting Crowns concert at FFC!

21. We went to the Zoo... many times with our guests (good thing we have a year-long family pass)!

22. The Loverns came to visit us!

23. We had our TENTH ANNIVERSARY!

24. Mom came to visit us!

25. We got Skype so we can talk to friends and family.

26. Kelsey came to visit GRACE…and the rest of us!

27. April 20-- I first felt baby move!

28. Easter Sunday at our new church!

29. We had an ultrasound... we are having a boy!

30. We had 2 fires in our fire pit so we could roast hot dogs and marshmallows.

31. Attended MOPS and became a Co-director for 2010-2011!

32. Jadon Scott Illian was born -- EARLY!

33. The girls and I attended several events at the Library.... including seeing the ZOO animals!

34.  I served as Nursery Coordinator this summer.

35. We had several MOPS meetings to discuss the new year… with Tricia.

36. We had the ABF leaders over for dessert.

37. We went to Big Creek State Park SEVERAL times.

38.  We had fun evenings at the Splash Parks FOR FREE!

39.  We had many friends over for dinner and dessert!

40. Grace learned to ride her 2-wheeler like a champion!

41.  I went to MANY, MANY yard sales to get bargains for my kiddos!

42. Bethany had a heart procedure done -- successfully! Praise the LORD!

43. Robin and Dad went to Atlanta on a missions trip!

44. Karen went to Guatemala on a missions trip!

45.  Vickey came to Iowa two times.

46. Danny played lots of golf.

47. Amy came to Iowa.

48. We had several play dates at local playgrounds.

49.  Kyle and his family came to visit on their way home to Colorado!  I hadn’t seen him since high school!

50. Dan preached a three week series at church.

51. We went to the Omaha Zoo as a family… with Kelsey.

52. Dan began playing church softball.
53. We bought a big girl bed and mattress for Hannah.

54.  We went boating with the Homebuilders ABF… Grace tubed!

55. We went to the Ledges for a hike.

56. Grace started AWANA Cubbies!

57. Hannah started sleeping in a BIG GIRL BED!

58. We toured the hospital where Boy will be born.

59. Hannah began talking really clearly… with beginning AND ending sounds.

60.  We had our first MOPS meeting WITH 21 MOMS!

61. We had our first small group meeting at our home!  YEAH!

62.  I have had TONS of doctor’s appointments!
63. We painted and decorated the baby's room.

Am I missing something?  Probably!  But as you can see this is A LOT of things in 9 months… just the moving part alone was a crazy time.  We have now been in Iowa for OVER 6 months.  It isn’t home yet, but we are working on creating those lasting relationships that will help that process.  In the mean time… we wait.  We wait for this little boy to come.  Will it be today?
