It is hard to believe that our spunky Hannah is now three! She really is a “Joy” to our family as her name says, but little did we know back three years ago the extent of that Joy and laughter! She keeps us on our toes and comes up with the funniest things. We love her spunk and charisma, but we have learned to help her bridle that a little to keep her in line!
We let Hannah pick the foods that she wanted for her birthday (which Danny was THRILLED with her choices!). She picked cinnamon rolls for her breakfast. We put a candle in them and sang our hearts out!
Then she opened presents – between phone calls from family!
She got a Snow White DVD from PopPop and MomMom… she immediately wanted to go watch it, but we told her she needed to open the other presents. We did watch it in little pieces throughout the day. She had never seen it before, and she giggled at all of the dwarfs and marveled at the Prince. We are starting to get a great selection of the old Classic Disney movies – which I believe are a whole lot more family-friendly than the newer ones!
Next she opened a few books from Grampa and Nanna. Several of our books have been very well loved and are really falling apart. Nanna found new ones so we could replace them! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I can finally STOP taping and taping everyday!
They also sent some fun Finding Nemo activities – sticker books, magnets, and figurines. Hours of fun!
Grace and Josiah got Hannah her OWN twistable crayons! She was so excited to color with them – she felt SO GROWN UP!
Danny and I got Hannah a few small things: a Lady and the Tramp book, a small Etch-a-Sketch, a Cinderella Book,
and a Cinderella Figurine.
All of this action was before 8:30! Then we had school and had an adventure… THAT blog will come next!
