There are some crafts that we MUST do outside at the Lightner house these days. There used to be a time when these activities were welcome indoors but so much has changed! It seems like painting is just one of those things. Hannah can never get it just on the paper.. it ends up on the floor, her clothes, the top of her head, her ankles and on the house. Yes, on the house. We now have a polka dotted house, thanks to our crazy two year old artist! (I don’t think she realized that her daddy just power-washed our used-to-be white house on Saturday!!!!!)She doesn’t mean to make a mess…. she is just living life to the fullest… at FULL speed which happens to create messes! But… I love these kiddos anyway and I put up with the messes because I love them and they love to create AND I ALWAYS USE WASHABLE PAINTS AND MARKERS!!!
