The Lightner family is growing… which all of you know, so we needed more beds! Grace and Hannah were thrilled when we announced that we were saving our money to get bunk beds! I think every kid thinks bunk beds are cool… at least initially. When we finally had saved enough, we told the girls that we had ordered them. They arrived a lot sooner than we expected and Danny was able to put them together on Saturday. We now have a set of bunk beds in the girls room as well as Grace’s old bed. We will put Josiah in Grace’s bed when the baby comes. Then when the baby is a little older, we will put Josiah back in his room with the new baby! I am sure that there will be another set of bunk beds in our future… FOR THE BOYS!! HOW COOL!!! For now, Josiah will be in his crib and we will make the transition some time in April.
Grace LOVES being on the top bunk… the other kids are NOT ALLOWED to go up there! Which makes it even more special!
Hannah loves the bottom bunk and calls it her cave! She doesn’t need her railing any more… she has the ladder to keep her in!
Both of them love it… and are sleeping so well!
