Labor Day Tradition

We started a tradition last year that we would have a fire in the fire pit to roast our own hotdogs every Memorial day and Labor Day.  It has been a really fun thing for our family to do and it actually get easier for us because we have simplified!  We only roast hotdogs and marshmallow and have a few sides – like macaroni salad and fruit.  Plus we strap the little kids in booster seats so they can’t go any where… perfectly safe!!

Josiah and Hannah both LOVE hotdogs like their daddy.  Hannah calls them “Hot-hogs” .  SO CUTE!

Grace spent the bulk of her time trying to keep the smoke out of her eyes.  It really seemed to follow her where ever she went.
