Saturday was Mr. Jim’s birthday so we had to have him over for a proper birthday dinner the night before. Jim is a man in our church who has adopted us as family since we moved to IA. He brings us banana bread and makes us dinner. He prays for us daily and we certainly appreciate all of them!
The girls really like Mr. Jim and Josiah even let him hold him for a LONG time on Friday night. The girls and I made cupcakes and we put a few candles in them for Jim… he LOVED blowing out the candles. He even had tears in his eyes when he left. He commented that this was the best birthday he has had in years! What a sweet man… we are so BLESSED to have him as a friend!
