Each year since moving to IA, we have purchased a membership to the zoo or have been given one as a gift. It has provided many, many hours of fun for our family! But for the last year or so we have also had a membership to the Science Center. We have not been there as many times, but it has another great benefit… we have a reciprocal membership to the science center in Fort Myers! We were able to enjoy a special morning with Bethany, Brayden and Carter while in FL!
SO FUN!
Our family with an extra one… a blondie, Brayden!
Grace LOVED touching the sting rays! They came right up to the top of the tank as if to say, “Hi, Grace! Can you scratch me right here? Oh, that feels so nice. Thanks!”
The Cowboys Fans liked it too!
Come on, Carter!
Grace… showing the two year olds how to do it!
Hannah found other creatures in the wade pools… starfish, sea urchins and more!
Since we loved touching those animals so much, we headed to the animal show to get to touch a few more living creatures…. cool!
After washing our hands, we headed to the hands on fun section for kids ages 0-5! We were really the only families there so we had this section to ourselves… Ah… so nice!
With Hurricane Sandy all over the news in the north, this was the closest that we came to all of that mess…the Hurricane Simulator.
Cousins Love… walking back to the car after a great morning!
Not bad for FREE FUN!! Ready to go home for lunch and naps!
