Birthday Blessings

Grace is IN LOVE with the Berenstain Bears. She carries her 20+ books in a shopping basket all over the house. She loves reading them and has many of them memorized. Her Nanna and Grampa sent her a few new books and the dolls of the Bear Family. As you will see she didn't know what to say... that is a rare thing for our Grace. :)

She is turning three next week when we are in Iowa! WOW!

11 months? Where has the time gone?

Before I had children, my friends would always comment that they couldn't believe how fast time flies when you have kids. I didn't believe them because in the working world, each week in the classroom seemed to drag until we FINALLY reached "Fun Friday" -- the day that we would play review games and have a special Friday afternoon activity! BUT now that I have children, I have to admit that they were right... Hannah is 11 months old today! That is just amazing! I don't understand how we got to February already... Grace will be THREE this month and Hannah will be ONE next month! Yes, time is spinning out of control... I wish I could hit the pause button. I just have to remind myself to take the time with my girls now and not wait for another day. I am glad to know that even when time seems out of control, my Heavenly Father is ALWAYS in control of EVERYTHING! I love how the Psalmist puts it in Psalm 125: "Those who trust in the Lord are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people." He is surrounding me and keeps me in control! Praise God!
