Playing in the sun
We LOVE playing in our yard. It is grassy, shady, sunny, quiet, big, FENCED IN... it is great! We love spending the time after nap but before Danny gets home out in the yard. Here is a look at our little adventurers:
Marvel at His Creation
While Danny was in Kentucky last week, he loved visiting the Creation Museum. He is determined to get all of us there some time.. when all of the kids could really enjoy it and when the new life-sized Ark is finished. He had a great time and talked and talked about what he experienced. It was neat for the girls to hear him marvel at God's creation.
He came home with a few gifts from there to show that he was thinking of us.
1. Creation Globes...6 different-sized globes nesting inside one another to illustrated the days of Creation... COOL! (no pictures... sorry!)
2. Dinosaur sun catchers for Grace and Hannah to paint.
3. A dinosaur hidden in a chalk block that Hannah had to scrape, dig, and smash to get him out... FUN!

Friday at the Fair–part 3
So… who was looking forward to the kiddy roller coaster more?
On the swings… Hannah’s first time!

Josiah finally fell asleep!

After a short nap he was ready to torture his sisters again! Speaking of naps…. someone else is sleepy!

We also saw the Butter Cow….

More rides….

Me and Siah!

The chicks….

Ready to hatch….. and just hatched ones were fascinating!

Meeting a baby pig… only 2 days old! The girls loved to see all of the baby animals – cows, pigs, lambs, chicks, etc. SO CUTE AND LITTLE!

We did get some yummy fair food – corn dogs, a fajita, a Gyro, ice cream, a popsicle, a fried Snickers bar, and a drink. I think that was it…. pretty good for going with Danny! No fried butter for him… such self-control but his co-workers will be disappointed!!!!

Oh… BTW… there were political people and news people everywhere. We didn’t meet any politicians, but they were supposed to be at the Fair. The day we were there Sarah Palin was in town. We moved from one political state (NH) to another (IA)!

Friday at the Fair–part 2
The fuzzy sheep gave us wool… SO SOFT!
We feed the cows and then milked them!
Another one of the 100 painted cows at the Fair….
The Lego exhibit was another favorite part…. we all played with them and made different scenes. Even Siah could reach the Legos to play!
